ISOC Cuckoo Fayre (FREE!)
The Cuckoo Fayre will take place again on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May in the Cuckfield Recreation Ground!

The annual Independent State of Cuckfield Cuckoo Fayre takes place on May Day Bank Holiday Monday, 1st May, in the Recreation Ground, from 12:00pm, with the official opening by the current Mayor, Wilf Knighton, at 1:00pm. Entry is free.

Entertainment includes music from The Village Band and Magic & Silliness from children's entertainer Tomfoolery. There is also the ever popular Dog Show, open to all, with many wide ranging classes. And if you don't win a bottle on the Wheel of Wine, then there is a licensed bar available.

The Cuckoo Fayre is an opportunity for all local organisations and charities to raise much needed funds - pitches are still available at £25 each, with all money raised being retained by the organising group.

The Mayor is looking forward to seeing you at this year's Cuckoo Fayre!

Friday 5th

Free lunch time concert
May 5th at Holy Trinity Church Cuckfield The Perdido Players Swing Band will be performing at this free lunch time concert from 1pm until 2. There will be soup served from 12.30.

Saturday 13th

NSPCC Plant Sale
Cuckfield Branch of the NSPCC will be holding their annual plant sale on Saturday 13 May 10 -1 at Brinkley Lodge, London Road, Cuckfield. There will be a wide variety of plants all excellent value. An attractive garden to wander around. Entry free. Homemade refreshments. Plants to sell would be very welcome. For further information please ring 01444-459579.

Saturday 13th

'Cuckfield Local'food market
Delicious local foods - cheeses, cakes, meat, pies & scotch eggs, organic chocolate, honey, jams, game, vegetables, fish. Come and join us and stock up on some treats for the weekend. We have a new bread stall joining us this month, the Flint Owl bakery from Lewes, come and try their wares. Don't forget to bring your milk bottle tops too, we're still collecting them on the Cuckfield Local stall.

Garden and Local Produce Fair in aid of New Horizons Appeal on behalf of St Catherine's Hospice. An opportunity to browse an excellent range of plant and local produce stalls in support of a local charity. Homemade cakes, coffee, teas and lunch will all be available. Politically ambitious Margaret and long-suffering husband Norman are expecting a new couple into their Bridge circle.

When wife-swapping beginners Barry & Angie arrive by mistake, both couples spend an alarming evening at cross purposes!

Meanwhile, bridge-playing Edward and Charlotte - Margaret and Norman's intended guests, enjoy a party with George and Zoe - Barry and Angie's intended hosts! When the party is in full 'swing', all are caught in compromising situations as Bridge turns to Farce...
