Playgroup Staff

We have a team of eleven staff all of whom have, or are working towards, an appropriate Early Years qualification (eg, NVQ3/NNEB). They are also trained in First Aid and Child Protection. There is an on-going programme of training to ensure their knowledge remains up-to-date. We are fortunate in having several long-term members of staff and between them they have a considerable depth of experience.

There is a high staff:child ratio at all Playgroup sessions – at least 5 staff to 26 children. This enables staff to support children in all areas of development and learning. We also encourage parents to help once a term for a session.
